[The People shall decide to choose a?] Receiver of official visitors (theōrodokon) from all Athenians; and to praise the Ephesian People+1+ and crown it with a gold crown according to the law for its piety towards the gods and its good will towards the Athenian People and king Ptolemy, and to announce this (10) crown at the City Dionysia in the new tragedies and the Panathenaia and the Eleusinia and the Ptolemaia at the gymnastic competitions; and the generals and the treasurer of the military fund shall take care of the making of the crown and its announcement; and to praise the ambassadors who have come from the Ephesians (15) and crown each of them with a foliage crown, Dionysikles son of Dionysikles, Nikophon son of Charidemos, Pantainos son of Teisidemos; and to invite them to dinner in the city hall tomorrow; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone a stele and stand it in the agora beside the altar of Artemis (20) Boulaia; and the treasurer of the military fund and the board of administrators (tous epi tei dioikēsei) shall allocate for inscribing and setting up the stele the expenditure accrued. Praxiteles son of Timarchos of Eiresidai was elected Receiver of official visitors.
