	Property / Translation IT: Conducendo avanti in questa fortezza tutti i miei soldati, cercai a lungo cosa tramandare alla memoria e offrire come voto comune, fatto anche per il ritorno dell'esercito, fra quelli già fatti e quelli futuri. Mentre ricercavo fra me i nomi degni degli Dei, ho rinvenuto infine il nome e il nume (potenza divina) della Dea a cui dedicare in perpetuo questo luogo, secondo i (nostri) voti. Per ciò che ho potuto, ho dunque consacrato il nome di Salus, fino a che vi saranno (suoi) devoti, e a tutti ho dato le acque vere della salute fra così tante fiamme, in mezzo a queste colline sempre sabbiose, affinché nuotando tranquillamente possano lenire i corpi dalle vampe ardenti del sole del sud. Così a te, che senti il gran beneficio di quest'opera e che senti risollevarsi lo spirito della tua anima arroventata, non rincresca di dar voce alla vera lode di chi volle che tu fossi sano, ma proclamala piuttosto in favore di Salus. / reference

While seeking in my mind for appropriate divinities I have finally thought of the name and power of a never-failing goddess to whom to dedicate this place; and so it is of Health that, insofar as I could, I have sanctified the name for as long as there are worshippers here; to all I have given the true waters of Health in these fiery temperatures, so that, in the midst of the hills of sand, they may ease their bodies from the burning flames of the southern sun by swimming in tranquillity. So do not be slow, you who feel the great attraction of what I have done, to speak in praise of one who worked for your health, but testify for the sake of Health. / reference
