To Caius Paccius Felix, patron, who performed all offices and functions, son of Caius Paccius Felix, patron of the city ( colonia ) of Casinum, by whose immense benefactions the fatherland, enriched, is recognized; to the curator of our city ( res publica ), by whose foresight we were always happily governed; to the curator and founder of public buildings, whose efforts and care and with whose own funds, after a series of years, the baths of Novianus were restored for our use; on account of all his works that he showed to his fatherland and citizens, the whole people of the colony of Casinum, together with our children, decreed the fitting erection of [this] marble statue to a worthy patron. | ||
