Of the presiding committee [Komaios] son of Chares of Lakiadai was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. (5) The People decided. Xenophon son of Euphantos of Berenikidai proposed: about what the prytany of Kekropis report about the sacrifices which they made before the Assemblies to Apollo Prostaterios and Artemis Boulaia and the other (10)gods to whom it is traditional, for good fortune, the People shall decide, to accept the good things that occurred in the sacrifices which they made for the health and preservation of the Council and the People; and since the prytany made all the sacrifices which were proper in the prytany well and with love of honour, and managed (15)the convening of the Council and the People, and everything else which the laws prescribe . . .
