[. . . that it seems good to] [the Council that the Council and People accept the good] things that the priest reports have occurred in the sacrifices he made for the health and preservation of the Council and the People and the others who are well disposed towards the People; and since the priest made the entry sacrifices (eisit�t�ria) (5) . . . to Zeus Soter and Athena Soteira+1+ . . . from his own resources, to praise the priest of Zeus Soter, Smikros son of Philinos of - and crown him with a foliage crown for his piety to the gods and love of honour (philotimias) (10) towards the Council and People; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it by (pros) the stoa of Zeus; and for the inscription of the stele the board of administrators (tous epi t�i dioik�sei) shall allocate the set amount (to diatetagmenon). col. 1 In crown The Council col. 2 In crown The People
