Polyeuktos son of Sostratos of Sphettos proposed: since Theophantos son of - of - (10) displays his good will towards the Athenians, to praise him; and he shall be proxenos and benefactor of the Athenian People; and the prytany secretary (grammatea kata prytaneian) shall inscribe the decree for him and stand it (15) on the acropolis; and the treasurer of the People shall give 20 drachmas for inscribing the stele from the People’s fund for expenditure on decrees.
