Of the presiding committee (proedrōn) (5) Aristomachos of Oion was putting to the vote. Onesippos of Araphen was secretary. The People decided. Hippostratos son of Etearchides of Pallene proposed: what the People have decreed for the Chersonesians (10) is to apply also to the Elaiousians , and the general Chares is to take care of them in the same way, so that the Elaiousians may possess what is theirs and live on a fair and (15) just basis with the Athenians in the Chersonese ; and to invite the Elaiousians to dinner in the city hall (prytaneion) tomorrow. | ||
