Hippomenes proposed: for Pythophanes of -stos , since he is a proxenos and (10) benefactor of the Athenians and does what good he can to the city of Athens and that of -stos, the decree previously voted for him shall be inscribed on a stone stele by the secretary of the Council now (15) in office and set down on the acropolis. The money belonging to Pythophanes in Athens or in any other place which the Athenians rule, and what he says about the ship and about the [money?], nobody shall wrong, and he shall have [immunity (20) from seizure (asylian) ] for himself and his money both coming and going. Let this be decreed, wherever the Athenians rule, for all the family of Pythophanes in the same way. So that this shall come about, the generals in (25) office at any time and the Council in office at any time shall take care.
