For the manifold merits of his labours, and for the various kinds of delightful spectacles [he offered], for which the examples of his father and grandfather were stimuli, [through which] he served from early age his fatherland and his fellow citizens; to Marcus Vibius Annianus Geminus, of perfectissimus rank, perpetual flamen , pontifex , twice priest of the province of Tripolitania, duovir . By acclamation of the most peaceful people and by decree of the most splendid council ( ordo ) [this was set up].
