Kleosthenes [. . . proposed]: since the prytany of Kekropis, having praised and crowned the treasurer, whom they chose from among themselves, [Theophanes son of - of Epieikidai], report to the Council (5) that they performed all the proper sacrifices in the prytany on behalf of the Council and the People, and the children and women . . . and managed everything else well and with love of honour, for good fortune, the Council shall decide, (10)to praise the [treasurer, Theophanes of Epieikidai], and crown him with a foliage [crown for his piety towards] [the gods and his love of honour towards the Athenian People], and to praise also the secretary, - son of - of Aixone, and the -, - son of - (15)of Paiania and the -, - son of -doros of Potamos, and the herald of the Council and People, Eukles son of - of -, and the secretary of the Council and the People, . . . of Rhamnous, and the undersecretary, . . .
