(...) die Tage, an denen es nach diesem Stadtrecht erlaubt und in der Ordnung ist, dort Gerichtsverhandlungen abzuhalten, an all diesen Tagen soll er das Intertium [eine Unterbrechung oder ein Aufschub der Verhandlung für drei – nach moderner Rechnung zwei - Tage] erteilen (falls das gewünscht oder beantragt wird). Für den größeren Teil eines jeden Tages an dem er verpflichtet ist, das Intertium zu erteilen, soll er (diese Information) an dem Ort, an dem er Recht spricht, durch öffentlichen Aushang bekannt machen, (und zwar) so, dass man es von ebener Erde problemlos lesen kann. Ferner, wenn die Prozessparteien und der Richter, der zwischen ihnen entscheiden muss, übereinkommen, dass an einem beliebigen Tag ein Intertium zwischen ihnen erteilt werden soll, und dieser Tag ist weder ein der Verehrung des Kaiserhauses gewidmeter Festtag (dies festus), noch muss er aus dem selben Grund zu den Feiertagen (feriae) gezählt werden, (dann) soll an diesem Tag (...). Wem es nach diesem Gesetz zusteht, (der) soll das Recht auf Anstrengung eines Prozesses, Erhebung von Forderungen, und Strafverfolgung haben.
