. . . . . . Philokles son of Lykiskos of Atene proposed. Since the priests on Delos in the archonship of Phaidrias (153/2) performed all the customary sacrifices on behalf of the (5) Council and the People of the Athenians and the children and women and the People of the Romans and the Athenians dwelling on Delos, and the sacrifices were auspicious, and conducted themselves (10) in office in other respects well and in a seemly fashion (euschēmonōs), for good fortune, the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee allotted to preside at the forthcoming Assembly shall put these matters on the agenda, and submit the opinion of the Council to the People (15) that it seems good to the Council to praise the priests on Delos in the archonship of Phaidrias (153/2), Drakon of Phlya, Gorgias of Ionidai, Lenaios of Hermai, Serapion of Pambotadai, Herakleides of Pambotadai, (25) Protogenes of Paiania, Leontichos of Dekeleia, Straton of Kephisia, Pylades of Perithoidai, and crown each of them with a laurel crown for their piety (eusebeias) towards the gods and . . . . . .
