[Statue of] Bassus. To Anicius Auchenius Bassus, of clarissimus rank, governor ( proconsul ) of Campania, provider for the same province, restorer of the Anician family; on account of his illustrious services, the council and people of the city of Praeneste decreed [this statue] to be set up.
