At the command of our venerable lords and Augusti, Constantius and Constans. To Ceionius Italicus, of clarissimus and consularis rank, a man singular and exceptional for his moderation, integrity, endurance, justice and honour to a remarkable and extraordinary man. The council ( ordo ) of the colony of Milev, at their own request and that of the province, set up [this] bronze statue to its patron in the forum of the city of Constantina, believing this to be the most honourable place to erect it.
