[being always?] co-responsible (paraitios) for some benefit, and announces that also in future he will show himself (10) useful to the People; so therefore that the People may be seen to be duly rendering thanks at every opportunity to those who benefit it, for good fortune, the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee allotted for the forthcoming Assembly shall place these matters (15)on the agenda, and submit the opinion of the Council to the People, that it seems good to the Council to praise Thraseas son of Aetos of Phlya+2+ and crown him with a gold crown according to the law for his [love of honour] and good will towards the Athenian People; and (20) to announce this crown at the City Dionysia in the new tragedies and the Panathenaia and Eleusinia . . . . . .
