Dedication of the Baths of Diocletian

Statements
Our lords Diocletian and Maximian, senior invincible Augusti, fathers of Emperors and Caesars, and our lords Constantius and Maximian, invincible Augusti, and Severus and Maximinus, most noble Caesars, dedicated the auspicious baths of Diocletian, finished with every refinement, to their Roman people. Maximian Augustus planned them in the presence of the (imperial) majesty, on his return from Africa, and ordered them be made. He consacrated them to the name of Diocletian Augustus his brother after buying buildings commensurate with the magnificence of such a work.
