Translation EN

. . . proposed: since Lyko- son of -kleides of Pydna takes care of all the Athenians publicly (5) and any one in need privately, and does what good is in his power [for the city or for the People], he shall be proxenos and benefactor of the Athenian People, both himself and his descendants; (10) and the prytany secretary (grammatea kata prytaneian) shall inscribe his proxeny on a stone stele and stand it on the acropolis . . .
