(Statue) of Amnius Iunior. For Anicius Paulinus Iunior, of clarissimus rank, proconsul of Asia and Hellespontus, consul ( consul ordinarius ), prefect of the City, judge representing the Emperor. On account of his nobility, eloquence, justice, and judgement, for which he was privately and publicly famous, by petition of the Roman people with the testimony of the Senate and by the decision of our lords, the triumphant Augustus and flourishing Caesars, it was resolved that a second gilded statue be put up at public expense.
