    To Lucius Mamilianus Licinianus, of clarissimus rank, son of Mamilianus Silvinianus, of perfectissimus rank, former governor ( corrector ), grandson of Mamilianus Crispinus, former count, great-grandson of Mamilianus Maximus, of perfectissimus rank, former count, for a long time patron by descent, who performed all functions and services in the fatherland without any blemish, accumulating dignities from his birth, now presented equally with the decree, love and the benefits of those devoted [to him]; the council ( ordo ) and the people of Suessa decreed the setting up of [this] statue to his eternal testimony, on a site granted by decree of the councillors.
