To Marcus Sentius Redemptus, outstanding in industry and wisdom, a praiseworthy man, leading citizen ( primarius ) of our city, who fulfilled all the offices [of the city] and the offices of the council, who by birth came to be [our] patron, who his people by his benevolence rendered his people free from the tax of gold and silver, who restored the summer baths, that had collapsed into squalour and ruin, at his own expense [and] to the highest standard, of whom so many good deeds towards us were accumulated, [and] to whose eternal fame the entire people of Interamna decided that a statue should be erected. [on the side] Dedicated on the day before the Nones of July, during the consulship of Bassus and Filippus, of clarissimus rank.
