    L'imperatore Tiberio Claudio Cesare Augusto Germanico, pontefice massimo, insignito della dodicesima potestà tribunizia, acclamato imperatore per la ventesima volta, padre della patria, censore, console per la quinta volta. Ai comandanti delle navi e ai rematori, che hanno militato nella flotta di Miseno sotto il comando del liberto imperiale Tiberio Giulio Optato, e che sono stati congedati onorevolmente, i cui nomi sono di seguito indicati, ai figli e ai loro discendenti ha concesso la cittadinanza romana e il diritto a un matrimonio legittimo con le mogli che avessero avuto nel momento in cui gli veniva concessa la cittadinanza, oppure, a quelli che erano celibi con le donne che avessero in seguito preso in moglie, purchè una sola per ciascuno di loro. L'11 dicembre, sotto il consolato di Fausto Cornelio Silla Felice e Lucio Salvidieno Rufo Salviano, al marinaio semplice Spartico Dipscurto, figlio di Diuzeno, Besso. Copia autenticata, conforme all'originale su tavola bronzea che è stata affissa a Roma nella parte destra del tempio della Fides sul Campidoglio.

    The emperor Tiberius Claudius Caesar Germanicus, pontifex maximus, holding tribunician power for the twelfth time, acclaimed emperor for the twenty-seventh time, pater patriae, censor, consul for the fifth time... grants to the ships captains and to the rowers who have served in the Misenum fleet under the command of the imperial freedman Tiberius Julius Optatus, who have been honourably discharged, and whose names are listed below, and to their sons and their descendents, Roman citizenship and the right to legal marriage with the wives they had at the time that citizenship was conceded to them, or to those who were unmarried with women whom they later took as wives, one for each of them. 11th December, in the consulship of Faustus Cornelius Silla Felix and Lucius Salvidienus Rufus Salvianus, to the ordinary seaman Sparticus Dipscurtus Bessus, son of Diuzenus. A genuine copy of the original bronze tablet that was put up at Rome on the right-hand side of the temple of Fides on the Capitoline.
