For the welfare of our lord, the emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus. According to his vow Serenus set up an altar to Jupiter, having chased the wicked Agriophagi for two days; pretty well the majority of them perished in battle, and no wounds <were suffered by us>. He also took from them all their booty together with the camels. For the welfare of our lord, the emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus; Sulpicius Serenus, son of Gaius, (defeated) the savage Agriophagi.
