(Statue of) Tannonius Chrysanthius, of perfectissimus rank, patron. To a man of a splendid and famous lineage, provider of the citizens, unblemished protector, superior in glory, following the example of the most splendid councillors, the most devoted people humbly decreed that the ornament of this ever lasting statue be erected in this much frequented place.
