For Anicius Acilius Glabrio Faustus, of clarissimus rank, candidate to the quaestorship, tutelary praetor, count in the consistory, urban prefect for the third time, elevated to the praetorian prefecture of Italy, Africa and Illyricum on all parts of the empire. In respect of both present glories and for inciting public virtue in the future, at the request of the people of Aricia, who, through the benefactions and providence made by this most honourable man, escaped intolerable hardships, the ordo and citizenry [of Aricia] set up this statue.
