Wise among the Solymoi, Solymius, the stay of the city, [honoured by] the decree of the Pamphylians, wealthy president, gold-giving, Pamphyliarch unsparing of expenditure, of senatorial blood, the boundary-guarding city-straightener, just, a benefactor, kindly, sweet-spirited, gentle as a father to all citizens alike. The inhabitants, exchanging with small honours, have set him up as a splendid one, him who is so intelligent in mind.
