To the emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Valerius Maximianus, pious, fortunate, unconquered Augustus, father of the fatherland; the most splendid council of the city of Segusium [set this up], under the supervision of Aurelius Saturninus, of perfectissimus rank, governor ( praeses ), devoted to his divine spirit and majesty.
