... to his encouraging position, overseer of the Palatine Palladium ( praepositus Palladii Palatini ), prefect of the greatest works, count of the ports, governor ( corrector ) of Tuscia and Umbria, governor ( consularis ) of Campania; the most splendid councillors of the city ( colonia ) of Privernum, on account of his kindness towards itself, religion, and integrity, decreed the setting up of [this] statue.
