To the tamer of enemies, unconquered emperor, most kindly ruler, our lord Flavius Claudius Iulianus, unconquered, pious, fortunate, forever Augustus; the community ( res publica ) and council ( ordo ) of the colony of the Thamugadenses set up and dedicated [this], with Flavius Aquilinus, priest in perpetuity, curator of the city, taking charge.
