    Gods. Decree 1 [In the archonship of Euxenos (222/1)], in the seventh prytany, of Hippothontis, for which – son of – of Kedoi^III^ was secretary. On the – of Posideon, the [eleventh or thirteenth] of the prytany. (5) Assembly [in the theatre]. Of the presiding committee Herodoros son of The- of - was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The People decided. . . . proposed: concerning what the prytany of Akamantis report about the sacrifices which they made (10) before the Assemblies, to Apollo Prostaterios and Artemis Boulaia and to the other gods to whom it is traditional, and managed the convening of the Council and the Assembly, and everything else which the laws and decrees of the People prescribe for them, for good fortune, the People (15) shall decide, to praise the prytany of Akamantis and crown them with a gold crown according to the law for their piety towards the gods and their love of honour towards the Athenian Council and People; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it (20) in the prytanikon; and for [inscribing?] the stele the administrator (ton epi tei dioikēsei) shall allocate the expenditure accrued. col. 1 The Council (crowns) the treasurer Antiphon (25) of Hermos col. 2 The People (crowns) the prytany col. 3 (30) The Council (crowns) the secretary Apollodoros of (35) Sphettos col. 4 [The Council (crowns)] . . . (45) Arkesilas son of Sostratos of - proposed: since the prytany of Akamantis, having praised and crowned the treasurer, whom they chose from among themselves, Antiphon*, and the secretary, Apollodoros*, report to the Council that they have made all the proper sacrifices in the prytany on behalf of the Council and the People, (50)and have managed everything else well and with love of honour, for good fortune, the Council shall decide, to praise the treasurer, Antiphon son of [H?]er- of Hermos, and the secretary, Apollodoros son of Apollodoros of Sphettos, for their piety towards the gods and their love of honour towards the tribesmen; and to praise also the (55) [priest of the eponymous, Androkles?] son of Xeinis of Sphettos and the [treasurer of the Council, Proxenos son of -] of Aphidna, and the herald of the Council and the People, Eukles son of Philokles of Trinemeia, and the secretary of the Council and the People, Philiskos son of Hippias of K-, and the undersecretary, Timokrates son of Timokrates of Kydathenaion, and (60) the pipe-player, Dexilaos of Halai; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it in the prytanikon; and the administrator (ton epi tei dioikēsei) shall allocate for inscribing the stele the expenditure accrued. col. 1 Hermos (65) [Antiphon son of [H?]er-] . . .
