Gods. Decree 1 In the archonship of Diokles (214/3). Boedromion. In the fourth prytany, of Aiantis, for which Aristophanes son of Stratokles of Keiriadai^XI^ was secretary. Decrees of the People. (5) On the eighteenth of Boedriomion, the twenty- third of the prytany. Principal assembly in the theatre. Of the presiding committee Pistokles son of Demon of Anakaia was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The People decided. (10) Aristion son of Aristokles of Xypete proposed; concerning what the prytany of Aiantis reports about the sacrifices which they made before the Assemblies to Apollo Prostaterios and Artemis Boulaia and the other gods to whom it is traditional, for good fortune, the (15) People shall decide, to accept the good things that occurred in the sacrifices which they made for the health and preservation of the Council and the People; and since the prytany made all the sacrifices which are proper during the prytany well and with love of honour, and managed the convening of the (20) Council and the Assembly and everything else which the laws and decrees of the People prescribe for them, to praise the prytany of Aiantis and crown it with a gold crown according to the law for its piety towards the gods and its love of honour towards the Athenian Council (25) and People; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand it in the prytanikon; and for inscribing and setting up (anathesin) the stele the administrator (ton epi tei dioikēsei) shall allocate the expenditure accrued. col. 1 The Council (crowns) (30) the treasurer Dorotheos of Marathon col. 2 (35) The People (crowns) the prytany col. 3 The Council (crowns) the (40) secretary Herodoros of Rhamnous Decree 2 In the archonship of Diokles (214/3), in the fifth prytany, (45) of Akamantis, for which Aristophanes son of Stratokles of Keiriadai^XI^ was secretary. Of the presiding committee Pe-kles son of Antipatros of Lamptrai was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council decided.
