Of the presiding committee Apollonios . . . was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council and the People decided. . . . of the People . . . the Boeotian [federation (koinou)] (10) . . . lawsuits (dikas) . . . of the Lamians+1+ . . . having been present ([paragenom]enoi) at Megara+2+ . . . well and justly, for good fortune, the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee (15) allotted for the forthcoming Assembly shall place these matters on the agenda, and submit the opinion of the Council to the People, that it seems good to the Council to praise [the city of the Lamians] and crown it with a gold crown [according to the law for its excellence and the good will] which it has towards the Athenian People, and to announce the crown at the Dionysia (20) [in the new tragedies, and to praise the judges sent] . . . - son of Diodoros . . . [and their secretary?], Sotimos [son of -?, and to crown each of them with a foliage] crown, and to invite them to hospitality in the city hall tomorrow; and (25)they shall be permitted to obtain other benefits from the People, whatever they may be deemed to be worthy of; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this decree on two stelai and stand one in [Athens on the acropolis, and the other in Lamia?] in the sanctuary of Dionysos, [should the Lamian People so decide?]; and (30) the administrator (ton epi tei dioikēsei) shall allocate for making and [inscribing?] the stelai the expenditure accrued.
