. . . . . . since the managers of the Mysteries in the archonship of -, having sacrificed to Demeter and the Girl (Korēi) and the other gods to whom it is traditional on behalf of the Athenian Council and (5)People and the children and women, report that the sacrifices went [well and efficaciously] ([kala kai sōtēr]ia), and prepared [a cart for the conveyance of the holy things?] at their own expense . . . . . . (15) . . . the same as . . . . . . . . . . . . for good fortune, the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee (20) allotted for the forthcoming Assembly shall place these matters on the agenda, and submit the opinion of the Council to the People, that it seems good to the Council to accept the good things which they say occurred in the sacrifices which they made for the health (25)and preservation of the Council and the People and the children and women and everyone else who is well disposed (eunous) towards the Athenian People, and to praise the managers of the Mysteries, -ndros son of Polyeuktos (30)of -, - son of -kosmos of Kollytos, for their piety towards the goddesses and the love of honour which they continue to show towards the Council and People; and to inscribe . . .
