Legion Adiutrix (die Helferin), und an die verstorbene Petronia Vaiata, seine Eltern, und an die verstorbene Petronia Anna, seine Großmutter. Septimus Petronius, Waffenmeister (custos armorum), ließ dies für seine ehrwürdigsten Eltern machen.
To the departed spirits and to the memory of the deceased Lucius Septimius Cupitianus, soldier of the 1st legion adiutrix (the helpful), and of the deceased Petronia Vaiata, his parents, and of the deceased Petronia Anna, his grandmother. Septimius Petronius, armourer (lit.: keeper of the armaments - custos armorum), saw to it that this be done for his worthiest parents.
